The Marine Education Centre

Since opening our Marine Education Centre in 2022, we have welcomed thousands of visitors to learn about the Berwickshire Marine Reserve. The Centre displays a range of information about the BMR, as well as interactive activities ranging from virtual reality diving to rockpool tanks.

Our Marine Education Centre will be opening its doors again on World Ocean Day on Saturday the 8th June 2024!

Come along to our Marine Education Centre to learn more about the marine life that can be found in our seas and help celebrate World Ocean Day.

​

Go for a dive on our virtual reality headset or take a closer look at what can be found on our rocky shores with our rockpool tank. Learn more about our citizen science and volunteering opportunities. Take part in some marine themed arts and crafts and help us make our own 'smack' of jellyfish!

We have a suggested entry donation of £1 per person and tea and coffee will be available.
