Go for a dive on our virtual reality headset or take a closer look at what can be found on our rocky shores with our rockpool tank. Learn more about our citizen science and volunteering opportunities. Take part in some marine themed arts and crafts and help us make our own 'smack' of jellyfish!

Discover Snorkelling for Beginners with Snorkel Wild

Suitable for ages 12 or over
From the beach, you'll learn how to snorkel and explore the shallows of Coldingham Bay, looking for and identifying marine life.

Guided Snorkelling with Snorkel Wild
2pm-5pm @ Coldingham Bay
Suitable for ages 16 and over
Explore some different habitats looking for marine life and building your snorkelling confidence, with the comfort of a guide to show you the best spots and point out marine life. This is for those with some experience, who are comfortable in the open UK sea.

The Volcanic Rocks of Eyemouth Beach and Fort with Alison Tymon
10am-12pm @ The Hippodrome
The walk will take you from Eyemouth Harbour towards Killiedraughts Bay to discover the amazing rock formations and discover how the landscape was formed and changed over time.

Wildlife Cruise to St Abbs Head with In Our Nature
2:30pm-4pm @ Eyemouth Harbour
An hour and a half cruise up to St Abb's Head National Nature Reserve to experience the sights, sounds and smells of internationally important seabird colony there.

BMR Ranger Guided Tour with Rib Rides St Abbs
3pm-4pm @ St Abbs Harbour
Sit back and relax as we cruise at a leisurely pace up the coastline exploring its nooks and crannies. We open her up a little bit if everyone is happy to experience the joy of speed on the water!

Wildlife Cruise to Burnmouth with In Our Nature
7pm-8pm @ Eyemouth Harbour
An hour's cruise down the coast to the pretty village of Burnmouth to visit the colony of seals that haul out on the rocks at low tide. Other highlights will include spectacularly folded rocks, sea caves

Guided Sea Kayak Trips with Active 4 Seasons
9am-11am @ St Abbs Harbour
Come and explore the amazing rocky coastline of the reserve from a kayak. Specialist sit in double and single sea kayaks available. If conditions allow we will head North to see the Guillemot and Kittiwake colony. Some previous kayak experience required (adults only).

Shorewatch with Whale & Dolphin Conservation
10am-1pm @ Coldingham Bay
Come along and join a WDC volunteer for a chance to see some of the marine mammals that visit the Reserve each year. Join in on a 10 minute survey to gather important data to help protect these amazing creatures.

Beach Clean with Scottish Coastal Clean Up
10am-11am @ Coldingham Beach
The Scottish Coastal Clean Up crew will be running a beach clean on Coldingham Beach. As well beach cleaning, we will also be carrying out some citizen science by doing a beachwatch litter survey for the Marine Conservation Society and a Brand Audit for Surfers against Sewage.
