VR Exhibition

We are launching our VR exhibit at the St Abbs visitor centre. This is a great opportunity for families and kids to come experience a virtual dive of some of the most popular dive sites within the reserve. If you are in the area definitely worth a stop in.

There will be three virtual dive sessions:

10am, 11am and 4pm.

Interested in contributing to marine conservation? We are looking for volunteers to help record on the presence and abundance of as many marine species present on the rocky shore as part of our 'Community Monitoring' project. Data collected will improve our understanding of intertidal species in the BMR, as well as feeding into the Nature-Scot dataset for intertidal habitat and species health.

Since then, every year the community has come together to celebrate the BMR by jumping off the harbour. This year is no different!

To mark our 37th birthday we have chosen 15 representatives from the reserve to do this years jump.

Feel free to come down and watch, it will be happening at 3pm.
